Following another succesful academic year, we have put together some eye-opening numbers regarding our full-time education programme!  
It's been a fantastic academic year at Sports Gateway, with many students completing the 2 year course, and others continuing their first year with us.  
Below are some very eye-opening & exciting numbers that have come out of Sports Gateway following the end of the academic year.  
79 learners completed the year 
Over 70% achieving above their minimum target grade 
22 learners earning additional qualifications to add value to the course including the FA playmaker, Talent ID & Sudden Cardiac Arrest 
19 learners progressing on to higher education. University of Birmingham for Sport Science, Sports Development and Coaching at Derby University, Sports Nutrition and Fitness at Swansea University, the Police at Derby University, in addition to over 10 learners continuing onto our very own Higher Education program 
79 Learners all achieved 24 hours valuable industry specific work experience across community coaching, personal training and utilising online platforms throughout the pandemic 
1360 hours of delivery completed with a further 360 hours of football training delivered online and practically 
44 1-1 meetings had for new learners entering the program (if you think this is necessary)  
What a year it's been, from online-learning during the pandemic to finally being able to get back in the classroom and out on the pitch!  
We want to thank all of our fantastic students for their hard work, we look forward to welcoming the first years back in the summer & we wish all of those who are moving on the very best of luck in the future!
