Sports Gateway are delighted to be providing support for Hucknall Town Netball Club, the £600.00 donation will help ensure the club can continue to provide a safe environment to train/play and will also help towards the next target of replacing tired kit for existing members of the netball club.
Sports Gateway Director, Jamie Brough said: "As a community organisation we are delighted to support Hucknall Town netball club. The work that Karen Cresswell, the clubs committee and their volunteers is truly outstanding. Having watched from a far for several years due to my daughter playing It’s impossible not to recognise all the hard work that those within club do.
I know through experience how difficult fundraising can be so when the opportunity arose to support such a great organisation, and what that often goes under the radar, we jumped at the chance.
Karen Cresswell from Hucknall Town Netball Club, said: "On behalf of Hucknall Town Netball Club, I would like to sincerely thank Jamie and Sports Gateway for their generous sponsorship for the 2021-22 netball season.
Jamie and Sports Gateway have been supporters of HTNC for a few years providing assistance with facilities, coaching, kit, equipment, and social events. Much of this support has been sharing resources and ideas, and the relationship we have is more than just financial. It has been great to be associated with an organisation that is really well run and appears to have the same work ethic and ethos as we do at HTNC. Jamie’s daughter is a talented member of our club and I know he appreciates the time and effort that goes into providing high-quality coaching and playing opportunities.
We are a club that strongly believes that money should not be a barrier to playing the sport you love. Without the generous support of our sponsors, we could not provide the infrastructure and kit, to enable us to fulfil these goals.
The £600 sponsorship from Sports Gateway will give us a fantastic start to the 2021-22 season and will ensure that we can continue to provide a safe environment to train/play (by retaining some of the Covid-19 protocols) and will also help towards our next target of replacing tired kit for existing members, which is now a few years old. We know that Sports Gateway have their own challenges at the moment and to set that aside, in order to support HTNC in our ambition to continue with the development of our club, is very much appreciated.”
